Our case bound books — also referred to as hardback or hard-cover books — are manufactured with a paper-over-board construction, delivering the rigid structure and weight your customers expect from a premium product. The case is produced using 2000 micron (2mm) greyboard, fully wrapped in a custom printed sheet. For added durability and enhanced scuff resistance, we recommend selecting a laminated finish. Matt, gloss and soft-touch options provide flexibility depending on the intended market. A non-laminated option is also available where a more natural finish is preferred.

For text sections, paper choice can be tailored to suit the end application:

Uncoated stocks offer a natural, glare-free surface ideal for predominantly black and white content such as novels, poetry collections, biographies, educational books and colouring books. The writable surface also makes uncoated grades particularly suitable for textbooks and workbooks.

Coated stocks (silk or gloss) enhance colour vibrancy and image sharpness, making them the preferred option for photography books, catalogues, corporate publications and high-impact visual content.
